Joy will help you find YOUR joy for ballet!

I am a professional freelance ballerina, ballet teacher, and choreographer. At 16, I was chosen to study abroad in Russia, where I graduated from one of the leading ballet schools in the world, Perm State Ballet School. Upon graduating, I received a diploma as a professional ballet artist and teacher. I was also among the first selected few worldwide to join the English National Ballet School’s Trainee Programme.

During my career as a ballerina, I have been fortunate enough to perform in soloist roles with the World Ballet Company, Saint Petersburg Ballet Theatre, Moscow City Ballet/Neurobshenko Ballet and International Classic Ballet touring all over the world, including Paris (France), Finland and Shanghai (China), Cape Town and Johannesburg (South Africa), Poland, Belgium, Finland, Scandinavia and all over the USA (48 states) and the UK. I have also performed in London’s West End at the iconic Peacock Theatre, The London Coliseum, The Cadogan Hall, Britten Theatre, Richmond Theatre and Eton College, to name a few.

I have had the privilege to be coached and mentored by the legendary icons of The Mariinsky Ballet, The Bolshoi Ballet, Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, The Estonian Ballet, The Stuttgart Ballet, The American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet.

Beyond the stage, my career has also included notable media appearances. Joanna Lumley interviewed me in Episode 3 of her Trans-Siberian Adventure documentary, featured live on BBC Radio Devon’s Pippa Quelch Show, and headlined Transport for London (TFL) campaigns with adverts showcased all over London’s transit system and was featured front and centre in the official World Ballet Company advert displayed on their tour coach, which travelled across the entire United States. I was also interviewed on Great Day Connecticut (TV Channel 3) in the USA and was honoured to take part in a company class taught by Margarita Kullik for the Mariinsky Ballet, as well as exclusive masterclasses with lead principal dancers of The Royal Ballet.

I have several years of experience in various classical ballet styles, including the Vaganova method, RAD and ISTD(Cecchetti), completing all exams with distinctions earning a place at Cecchetti Junior and Senior Associates and the prestigious programme of Cecchetti scholars and receiving grades A-A* in all my GCSE exams, including an A in Dance GCSE whilst juggling being in full scholarship vocational ballet training in London with the London Russian Ballet School and Masters of Ballet Academy. Besides ballet, I have experience in contemporary, tap, jazz and modern dance and trained at LABAN in their CAT programme.

With a career shaped by artistry, discipline, and versatility, I am honoured to be regularly invited to guest teach at esteemed ballet schools and perform at exclusive events ranging from elegant weddings to high-profile corporate engagements. Whether in the studio or on stage, my work reflects a deep commitment to excellence and a genuine passion for sharing the transformative power of dance.

My approach is rooted in classical technique, enriched by years of professional performance and teaching experience. I tailor each appearance - whether for a masterclass, private coaching, or live performance to create a meaningful and memorable experience for every audience.
